Free For All and Rumble Pit are going to start allowing people to Party up!

They just posted this as of late, starting next week you'll be able to hook up with 4 friends and play matches of rumble pit and Free for all with friends in a fire team.

It sounds great! But in order to communicate you'll need a third party device like discord, since it'll only allow talking in game till the match starts apparently. So no big issues there.

It'll be like old times though, and if it looks like one of the other players is going to win, you can make a temporary truce to attempt to catch back up and win. W00!

It would be much cooler if they add proximity chat for FFA as well like in OG Halo 2. It would have a lot of hilarious potential but that's just my wishful thinking lol

You can always hope for that, but more likely the social sensitivity of other players that play games online will keep them from doing this.

I really need them to remove escalation slayer from the game. It is the worst game mode i have ever witnessed in Halo History. Its like 343 specializes in failure. I would legit pay $70 for them to remove this game mode and never touch it again.

it doesn't make much sense the oddball is the final weapon but it doesnt do 1hit kills. lol. i guess thats.. even?

The first three weapon rounds start off really rough, and then the last one is just extremely stupid. The escalation lonewolf slayer wasn't as bad. But at this point everytime i que for quickplay and get escalation slayer i just quit the match instantly.

Would be nice if there's voting in the lobby. I'm tired of playing the same swords and oddball modes on every run.
I mean they're fun for a little while.

Put back escalation, ctf, and sniper modes to ffa for variety!

I totally believe you'd be completely fine with getting your face curb stomped by people teaming up in FFA matches for an entire match, lol.
