So..."bandit rifle"

Why the hell did they add this instead of the tried and true DMR from existing Halo games... This bandit rifle is very disappointing and frustrating to use. Probably and most likely a skill issue but this thing is not fun to use. Thoughts and opinions on this weapon?

Balancing the DMR is a nightmare, because its either way to strong or way to random with its bloom making it unfun to use, the game already had 2 medium range kinetic in the commando and BR75, adding another would be really dumb

Honest id say yeet commando for the real DMR which is more accurate then BR at long range.

That would be a waste of time, and the stalker rifle and shock rifle already exist. And bandit starts have done wonders for btb

With the BR you have to land all 3 bullets for maximum dmg, unless it hitscan again. BR is best suited for Medium range and sometimes long range if you got the skill.

The Shock rifle kills in 1 headshot and 4 body shots where the S7 kills in 1 headshot and 2 body shots, or if you're smart 1 body shot and then finished them off with your other weapon to save on S7 ammo

after playing with the Bandit for some hours i really love it! I love it more than the Battle Rifle. Yes BR is still better but it's really fun shooting dudes in the head with the Bandit. Way better than the pistol starts

yeah, its a hard gun to use but very satisfying when you landed a headshot!

the size of the crosshair messes with my accuracy... got any tips? Just played Ranked Slayer yesterday and played very super due to using the Bandit for the first time. So how landed in Gold 4, was excepting mid silver to be honest lol.
