you're australian, finding servers is tough for a lot of aussies. especially in btb

Well for one. Every promotional event since this game came out only featured 4v4 modes for some reason. And there is no ranked BTB at all. We get a slew of ranked 4v4 modes most of which are dead on arrival. But no classic 8v8 ranked BTB with set spawns for weapons/vehicles instead of random air drops.....

yes it can. it is. hence your issue. i just noticed there was a new season, but with only 2k players on Steam, why bother? I'd have to hope the rest are playing on Game Pass or console and that there's enough in the game mode(s) I want to play.

you were looking for matches as midnight on a sunday, not exactly a great time to look for big matches in a game with only ~4k concurrent players

I don't think most people like BTB in this game because it's nothing like what BTB used to be and should be.

BTB can be one of the most fun modes in the game, it just lacks maps.

In a few hours there will be the Unlimited BTB Oasis playlist. As far as I know, everyone should start with the Bandit.

Stockpile is aweful. Most of the time it last for less than 3 minutes, one team wrecking the other.

Yea it is a shame, but this is all due to whichever team has more players who knows what to do.

I stopped playing that mode, because each time I played it, my team would split. Half would go to the base of the enemy and start fighting, while a quarter of the remaining half would go to the objective and the rest would stay behind.

The other team on the other hand would have most their players go to the objective and take turns tossing the cells towards their base. Then they guard their side with vehicles, something my team clearly can't deal with and they score once.

2nd round is pretty much the same, but then you have the fixed players on your own team who focus only on getting kill, ignore that some of us are trying to get the cells. You have AFKers, Snipers who are useless and from there on in, it's a definite loss. So I don't see the point of it.

The other team they just focus on the strategy they deployed at the beginning. Fetching the cells, working together and the getting the scores. Eventually they get a tank and even that 1% chance of winning is gone.

I just wish people would have an incentive to play by the objectives, because it really dims the fun in these modes. CFT would be super fun too, but I'm getting tired of being the only one defending the flag and nobody joining me and it would make sense if they'd make moves towards the enemy's flag, but it's literally a deathmatch and not a single group or individual avoids the big battles and tries to sneak around them. It's like watching a sheep trying to rejoin the herd. They're all the same.
