we're currently tracking some crashes and we're always looking to gather more information.
i would ask that you please hit up Halo Support[aka.ms] and submit tickets about the crashes you're running into.
and if you can, when you send in your ticket, include a copy of your HaloInfinite.exe.asr file that would be fantastic.
(for context, mine is in: SteamLibrary >> Steamapps >> common >>Halo Infinite >> File)
thanks a bunch!

In the middle of the video it says that 343 is doing a patch bug update this week or next.... fingers crossed!

. set scale size to 300% for windows 10 and 11. That sometimes fixes problems. If it's in the settings i don't have to change it manually in windows.
. option in the settings to put it high dpi settings on. and disable full screen optimizations. Helps for older games.
. have halo installed on first drive c drive.
. Try launching the game via command in the command line. switch resolution to something lower.
. scan to fix the game in the settings.
. turn off vires programs. Set steam and halo game to be accepted.
Things to try.
Hi RabitPenguin,
Thank you for submitting a report regarding Halo Infinite not launching via Steam after the Season 3 dropped.
To better assist our development team with necessary details, we will ask you to provide us with a DxDiag file by following these steps:
Click into the Start menu's search bar on Windows.
Type "dxdiag".
Press Enter/click on "dxdiag". It may take a minute for the program to open, be patient.
Once it opens, click "Save all information…" and reply back with the file attached.
We will also ask you to verify your Integrity Files on Steam, please do as follows:
Restart your PC and launch Steam.
In Steam, select Library at the top of the app.
In the list of installed games on the left side of the app, right-click the game you want to check and select Properties…
Select the Local Files tab and click the Verity integrity of game files… button.
After the process completes, launch the game and check if the issue is still occurring.
We are looking forward to your response.
Thanks,
Halo Agent Juliet
