HALO FIX PC NOW!

still cant start halo. I've restarted steam - nothing; I've tried running it as a admin - nothing;
updated my drivers - nothing; verified game files - nothing; EVEN REDOWNLOADED it still nothing. I have 650 hours in infinite dont make me stop playing.

hey y'all, we're currently tracking some crashes and we're always looking to gather more information.

i would ask that you please hit up Halo Support[aka.ms] and submit tickets about the crashes you're running into.

and if you can, when you send in your ticket, include a copy of your HaloInfinite.exe.asr file that would be fantastic.

(for context, mine is in: SteamLibrary >> Steamapps >> common >>Halo Infinite >> File)

Umm tried to message there before. From what I can gather Halo support says they don't support the Steam Deck even though it is PC too.

My guess that it has something with the program associated with the error message for detecting low-end cards or the error occurs before the process can take place. Honestly; I hate how the events restrict unlocks to certain times where I am either physically unable to play or responsibilities requires I not be able to play. I wanted the WWI / WWII based core unlocks but life got in the way

Steam Deck is an x86 pc yeah, but it doesn't run Windows (natively). Infinite doesn't officially support non Win10/11 or non Xbox platforms.

Unfortunately, we Steam Deck users will need to wait for Valve to update/release a proton update so the game will run again.
