What region are you from and do you have a strong enough internet speed for the game to reach the data centers?

i'm in SEA region my internet is 10mb download per sec. Other online game work fine, it just Halo didn't work :steamfacepalm:
I have a similar disconnection problem only for this game and the odd solution is to disconnect the Ethernet cable from my computer and reconnect it. All other solutions doesn't work.

As far as I am aware, Halo doesn't have SEA servers. So you are likely trying to connect to Europe or North America by default. Microsoft and Xbox really isn't popular in the Asian regions cause well.. Sony..

Thanks everyone, i use VPN to switch my internet to US and it work even though the ping is a little bit high. Not sure why this happened cause when the game first release i din't use VPN and didn't encounter this issue.

I have a similar issue, also near the Seattle area (I live about 4 hours away). I'll try reconnecting the ethernet to see if this solves the issue. Thanks sharing. Didn't have this issue until I recently reinstalled the game.

Connectivity is based on your personal connection to the data center near or in your region. If you don't have at least 100mbps minimum download speed you will like experience consistent disconnects if trying to connect to a data center that isn't native to you.

Additionally if your modem/router do not support the following ports, your disconnects would be even worse.

TCP: 3074, 27015, 27036 UDP: 88, 500, 3074-3075, 3544, 4500, 27015, 27031-27036

Your firewall could also be contributing to the disconnects as well, if your firewall or anti-virus is too strict or outdated, it will cause boot-offs. I've personally stopped using 3rd party anti virus software because of this.

Having proper wifi encoding and receivers is also something that can cause packet loss and or interference and disconnects. The current "Wifi Encoding" is currently 6.0 which is something short of a miracle.

Wi-Fi 6 is the most recent iteration of the Wi-Fi network protocol and is a substantial upgrade over its predecessor. Wi-Fi 6 can be faster due to technologies like traffic prioritization, OFDMA, and beamforming. This new protocol is also more secure and uses new encryption technologies such as SAE.
