Please optimize this game for low-end pcs
I love this game, I was still able to experience it at a 30 fps frame rate but it wasn't a really good experience

I don't understand why it takes so many resources to run it, I can run games like call of duty MW(2019) at 60 fps with rare lagspikes

Althought I'm getting my new pc this summer I still would like to play this game now

That graphics card is absolutely the killer. it was a low end card 5 years ago when it launched. They do have work to do in optimization but the best your going to get is 720p low to get the framerate you want, and that probably won't do it. If you can get your hands on an Xbox, that maybe easier than trying to find a new graphics card RN if you have to play halo now.

Well what about the new pc im getting, would it be enough to run this game at a stable 60 fps?

Intel Core i9-12900K 16-Core 3.2 GHz
16 GB of RAM

idk the maps in 4v4 are small with only 8 players idk why a low end GPU shouldnt be able to run it. They need to optimize it for low end spec users for sure. If they can ge tthe game to run on the original xbox one why cant it run on a low end PC .

15 year old engine won't run on 5 year old card.

Progress.

Don't upgrade your potato: upgrade your life. Forget Halo, Halo is junk now and always will be.

you computer is far from being that low end... Increase your ram and make sure you are using dual channel, that usually helps a lot when using ryzen processors.

also theres a setting in game, like target frame rate or similar, which should help a lot on the fps.

this game is playable at 60fps on a 1060 3gb so a 570 should be able to run it (not at full native 1080p tho). I have a friend that played the game for months in a 560...

It would be enough to play the game on 100-144FPS. But you have to buy a 144hz monitor then, to take advantage of high FPS. You can run 144FPS on a 60HZ monitor, but It will always look like 60FPS. If you run 144FPS on a 144hz monitor the game will run much more smooth.

If you play with a 60hz monitor on a 3060, there is so much wasted potential.

A potato that can run call of duty modern warfare at medium settings at 60 fps, totally a thing
