Okay, to give it the tiniest bit of leeway, chances are most people aren't going to buy every single bundle. They'll just buy the ones they want and ignore everything else.
Still, the fact that all of this stuff was in previous games FOR FREE feels like a massive cash grab. Also, they lied about getting armor through the campaign. All you get is some stupid emblems and a couple coatings and that's it.
Love how they went on and on about this having the best spartan customization ever, only for us to get the game and realize it's actually the most restrictive spartan customization ever because everything is so ridiculously expensive.
Nothing was FOR FREE, you had to buy a game, remember, right?
Im new to Halo, Infinite is my first Halo game, but all those hardcore fans here make it look like they care about customization much more than about game itself.
Im from a poor country, and i would rather give 10$ for battlepass in a good game like this than buy cat in a bag for 70$ with "free" customization in it.
I also play PoE A LOT, thats a f2p game with lots of MTX, and it has great support(much better than diablo for example) If you like the game and it is good, and in my opinion, this particular Halo IS good, and if Microsoft plan to support it for years, i would gladly give them some more once in a while.
IMO big games with planned long support cant live on one-time-buy today. Thats just how it works nowadays.
Cancelled my campaign preorder tho. Not going to pay 60$ for a small story that I can watch on Youtube.
After all we knew it was going to happen. It's still 343. It's still Microsoft. It's still only our money they want, not our happyness.
