The disruptor has a damage over time effect if you land enough shots. 6 shots will kill someone due to this, or you can land 3 and switch to another weapon while theyre taking electricity damage.

The Disruptor has some of the highest utility potential of any weapon. Hit a target 6 times anywhere from full shields and walk away, the DoT it inflicts will kill them while you're off somewhere else. Even landing just a couple shots inflict a DoT that stops shield recharging for upwards of 10 seconds. It can also EMP vehicles by mag-dumping in to them.

The amount of shenanigans you can pull with this gun is disgusting and I wish it spawned more so I can get more practice with it lmao

The only practical use this weapon has is disabling vehicles.

DPS is poor compared to the weapons you start with. Extremely low ammo capacity.
