You cant, Xbox decided to implement a gamertag system much like battlenet and discord that gives hastags. on the xbox app and other games im Ziltoid, but in Halo Infinite and other games im Ziltoid7970. Its up to the developer to fix it on their end. maybe full release it will be fixed. Until then to really get around it change the gamertag to something not common

I remember during the flight beta there were no numbers besides our names unless you specifically put numbers next to your name.
