Voice chat audio output?
So I see an option for Voice Chat Audio Input, which is set to my headset microphone, but no option for output, so my allies' voices come out of my monitor's speakers, with no way to change it.
I've already tried changing my system's default to my headset, but it doesn't do anything, it still plays out of my monitor's speakers.

Open xbox game bar (win + G) then go into audio settings at the top then in the settings go across to voice and then change default communications output to desired device :)

So after a little bit of experimentation, the only solution I have found is going into sound settings, clicking manage sound devices, and disabling literally every option under output devices other than my headset.

Obviously this is not ideal, as I have to go in and re-enable them all upon exiting the game, but at least it allows me to communicate with my team in ranked.

What a needlessly complicated way to change it when it could have just been an in-game option, but hopefully it helps someone, so I'm marking this as the solution.

I agree. It's unacceptable and really just a bad way of doing it. The game doesn't explain it, most games don't do it like this, and it's hard to figure out what to do solo.

I actually didn't know that was an option that affected in-game voice chat either. I only knew of the option to go into Windows 10 Control Panel, open up the Sound menu, and set your preferred sound output to Default Device AND Default Communications Device. Those are two separate options.
