Are Halo Infinite (Campaing) standalone install?

Yush, i just wondering to ask are Halo Infinite (Campaing) standalone install?

Store say then Campaign is "DLC", i don't want to install Halo Infinite "Free" or "Multiplayer" -version to play singleplayer campaign.

If you have to install "Free" -version of Halo game to play singleplayer game, im going to first time in Halo history downvote or write instantly negative feedback for this game because, im not support any F2P -games or in-app store/micropayment stuff of games.

So, i hope then if you own or buy Halo Infinite (Campaign) -version, you get separate install or install version of Halo Infinite -game, that not included multiplayer.

I have the same question.

Very odd that the campaign is listed as DLC and Steam says that the Multiplayer is required to play the campaign. I guess we will know in a few weeks but I really do not want to have to install both just to play through the story.

From my guess it looks like you're gonna have to install MP if you want campaign, based on how they specifically have it layed out compared to MCC DLC, the MP looks like the base game download where the Campaign is the DLC. (MP and Campaign were both DLC in the MCC)

I'm reasonably certain that the MP/SP/Texture packs will all be optional components. The management options already exist in-game, though it should also be possible via the Steam client. The MCC used the same approach.

There is no single / multi it's just Halo Infinite then you either get campaign or you don't.

I don't think that is accurate as I'm sure installing the campaign will increase the install size from 26gb to at least 80gb. So it isn't just a switch that turns on or off.

Even if you did have to download your quote on quote "free" part of a game, how hard is it to look away from touching multiplayer and just hitting the campaign tab?
I understand some complaints for games but stuff like this is just hard to believe is a complaint. If you never hit the multiplayer then you are standing by your word and not giving them money. Just be an adult and click campaign, beat it, then get on your way.

This would be the equivalent of having to download COD Warzone to play the single player campaign. It doesn't make any sense for the campaign that costs money to be DLC instead of a stand-alone OR the base game.
