Can we take bloom out of the game?
Who wakes up in the morning and says
"Ah yes I can't wait for my bullets to not go where I am aiming and the 1v1 I'm having is based on who gets better bloom!"
Like what is the point of bloom. Just lowers the skill ceiling on the game and makes half the fights RNG in this game.
The one thing I remember everyone complaining about in Halo Reach was
1) Armor Lock
2) Bloom on Weapons

I am talking about CLOSE RANGE FIGHTS WITH PISTOLS AND COMMANDOS
The meta of this game is turning into... Crouch spamming... Shooting your pistol as fast as you can.
You can't "Time" shots close range because spamming will win %75 of the time.
So the game turns into a dice roll on who's bloom (Random bullet spread) hits the other person head.

Close range is where the problem is because you can only spam your shots and pistol bullets will go around the head and its annoying when you win 50/50 of the 1v1's cause bloom is random
Pistol bullets going crazy when spamming is not a new thing tho, it happens in almost every other game.
But when you shoot with the AR the bloom is less noticeable.

These are older games, old games were fairly easy when it comes to bloom and recoil, but when you load up a game like Valorant, COD, Battlefield or Halo Infinite and spam your pistol bullets will go everywhere. That's generally how pistols work because the recoil of pistols in real life pull it back which means if you go in rapid succession chances your bullets won't be as accurate, hence why as I said the AR or every other gun doesn't have noticeable bloom in close range.

You are doing a bit of confusion.

If you spam pistol in a game like valorant the bullet not go everywhere, because you can control the recoil.

If you spam pistol in a game like last Battlefield and some cod games, the bullet go a little outside where you are aiming only near the of the magazine, because they use a mix of recoil and spread.

If you spam pistol in a game like cod and halo infinite, there is not directly controllable spread to influence the bullets.

This are the difference between competitive game(valorant) casual game with recoil control(battlefield, some cod games) and casual game(halo and some cod).

But in Halo infinite this spread is so little for pistol, to the point you can kill more quickly of shotgun in close range.

Barely played mcc from a friends, this is basically the first halo i played.

Halo 5 wasn't based on casual random spread/bloom?

Yeah i understand and surely the timing burst fire, depending on distance is the best way for this type of casual gameplay.

But halo have good potentialy if Microsoft want to finally expand this game and make it a competitive skill based game.

Halo 5 was made for competive game. With all the movement mechanics

Hard call competitive game if they not changed gunplay and other part of gameplay, only movement isn't enough.

But i presume don't worked if they changed it again for infinite.

Halo after all is meant to be a casual game.

It’s almost like actual firearms aren’t hitscan laser pointers. The fact that the “bloom” results in groupings down-range as tight as they are without ever even actually bracing and using the sights and just hip-firing is already super-human.

Pace your shots, controlled fire. Aim center mass until shield is down then pick a clean headshot.
