minimum system requirement's concept is wrong
I think all games should be playable on all hardware, no matter how old or new, developers should offer low res textures and potato graphics, like lower it to a point that it looks like 2010 game, but still let people with low end hardware at least play or start the game.

i think preventing and stopping people from even starting the game with low end hardware is a mistake.

just like the game offers high end texture pack, it should offer low end textures as well, this will be the true meaning of inclusiveness.

thoughts?

My thought is that’s bait.

For the record, if you uncheck the high texture pack from your DLC you will run low end textures, and tbh I agree with you, especially now when computers are so much more expensive it is a big gesture of goodwill to extend compatibility.
That said I could never see this game running on intel integrated graphics.

I played Halo MCC with around 50 fps on Intel 8th gen i7 CPU and it ran very fine, got 600 out of 700 achievements too.

i don't see why Halo infinite fails and crashes when i try to play it, it could very well be optimized for low end hardware just like Halo MCC, only with lower graphics and visuals.

Unfortunately it simply is not. The game struggles to run on the base xbox one, which was the platform it was originally designed for. I don't think 343i is capable of getting the game to work any better than it is.
As for integrated graphics not launching, it's probably due to 343i doing something really strange with their graphics code. An update from intel may fix it but I have no idea how long that would take or how well it would run.

It is because of the DX12.2 requirement. My GPU only supports DX12.1 and I was utterly disappointed when I found out that the game won't even launch/crash.

That doesn't sound right, my gpu only supports DX12 feature level 12.0 and it runs fine, are you getting it confused with feature level 11.2? A lot of older GPUs are like that.

my GPU supports DX 12.1 and WDDM 3.0

I'm on Windows 11

I already play games like Back 4 Blood which is 2021 new game with decent visual and frame rate on my Intel GPU.

I have 16 GB DDR4 RAM with 12GB Page file on M.2 SSD, but Halo infinite beta multiplayer right now has some kind of problem, it eats up all the RAM instantly and then gets stuck on the screen where it says press Enter and then after few seconds quits.

wish there was a config file for Halo infinite so that I could change graphics settings prior to launching the game.

you are right, the game doesn't require DX 12.2

the system requirement says GTX 1050 Ti and as you can see, it only supports DX 12.1

1050tis have been able to run this game, sounds like you're dealing with a weird bug. Have you updated your drivers by any chance?

I used 1050ti as reference to show this game doesn't require DX 12.2, like I said above I have Intel graphics and no Halo infinite crashes on the menu.
