Battlepass ruins the heart of Halo multiplayer

Cosmetics have always been a core part of Halo's multiplayer. Now what feels like 99% of all cosmetics are locked behind a $30 season pass, PER SEASON. This is terrible.

they will also be offering free armor sets and other cosmetics as the game goes on. next week is the first one and it's called fracture tenrai or something like that. it's a samurai armor set that's free to everyone. they said there will be multiple of these events.

I would have preferred a full price game with an actual good progression system like Reach.

Absolute facts, they only cut the mp part off of the main game just so people would defend them for charging 20 bucks per armor set.

All those people also talk as if halo is some underground indie game that needs this system to survive, disingenous af.
