Battlepass ruins the heart of Halo multiplayer

Cosmetics have always been a core part of Halo's multiplayer. Now what feels like 99% of all cosmetics are locked behind a $30 season pass, PER SEASON. This is terrible.

where did you get 30? Just buy the 10? And each season is an entire year so if you aren't making 10USD a year there are bigger issues there.

6 months, actually, but they don't expire.

it's just 6 months until the next pass comes out.

you literally have for as long as the game exists to complete any battle pass.

You've never been able to cook grenades in Halo.

Good thing I never claimed otherwise then. I just basically suggested it as a new feature.

It isnt really a necessary one, there's never been an arena shooter where you can cook grenades.

If that were true, you wouldn't be getting so upset, defensive, and combative.

I will be over here knowing how to aim grenades and know how cooking grenades would actually enhance that.

Also this entire Multiplayer is F2P, and I am playing on PC.

you must be new to gaming to think that "beta" means that the structure of the game is going to change in any way.

"beta" has been nothing but a marketing term for the last decade.

"beta" is the kind of gamer who buys in to "early access" thinking they have input to the development cycle.

That's how beta's SHOULD be, gamers getting special access to an early build of the game and providing input to the devs. Unfortunately the term "beta" has been misused as a cover-up term for "we just released this ♥♥♥♥ early and unfinished but you'll buy it anyway."

I would have actually preferred paying full price for the multiplayer alongside the campaign if it meant we didnt have to deal with this ♥♥♥♥.

Thats why i always say, i'd rather have paid 60€ for MP and SP but with unlockable stuff.
