Why isn't my challenge counting correctly?

Just to clarify if i do something wrong, i currently got the mission to kill 15 enemies with the sidekick pistol.
I don't use any other weapon than the pistol.
i counted 7 pistol kills.
the game awarded me the gunslinger medal for 5 pistol kills
my challenge went from 6/15 to 9/15

Game is proper broken... But the cash shop works fine.

probably like destiny 2 other people steal your kills also devs cheat. thats why whole idea of bounties, challenges is mega stupid. its time to respect yourself, your money and time. do not allow them treat you like money whales. be fan of good game and good developers, not blind fanboy

the game literally awarded me a medal for 5 pistol kills. The game knows i did them. Still gave me only 3 for challenge. how could someone steal them...

ask them not me, destiny 2 also counts that as assisted kills for example you did 80% damage but someone else did final shot. and if stupid game asks for 20 final shots with scout rifle. imagine that grind
