Why aren't people complaining about Crosshair not turning red on PC?

They did that to "stop" hackers but it did NOTHING and now PC players are penalised with another disadvantage. Also look up "anti aim assist" for Snipers on PC because that's also thing.

They would use some trash like denuvo then and they wouldn't have released the game on steam since games downloaded through Microsoft store/Xbox app are harder to tinker with (they are installed in encrypted folders you don't have access to, had to learn that when trying to mod outer world's)

What competitive disadvantage? It would only be a disadvantage for the sword but there at least for me it's working

You seem to not understand the subtlety of visual cues. Having the extra visual confirmation that you're in range to make a shot can make a big difference. Even if it was only a slight difference, it's not a fair fight if only some players get it. It's an unfair advantage, which should not exist in a competitive game.
You're allowed to be a casual player and not care about the crosshair color, but for serious players, it matters.

You can literally shoot from any distance as long as you're not using something like the bulldog tho

And don't make me laugh, we all are casual players, even if you only play ranked you're a casual player until you make money with it which I kinda doubt

Visual communication is slow. By the time you see the crosshair change and react. Your shot is gone. its ONLY useful for the sword if you are above the bottom 10% of players.

Not to mention that it's the community that made death threats and ultimately forced the Devs to close down the subreddit because of it over some cosmetics and slayer gamemode? (A gamemode I might add most people in this community suck at as we can all see now that it's released)

put this into perspective in a real world scenario there is an enemy. are you gonna rely on the crosshair to tell you if there is an enemy or are you going to use your eyes
