On a side note yes the game been out around 3 weeks, Which is false since their "beta" of multiplayer been around for 4 weeks or so.
Its not much work to "remaster" the old halo maps and add them. This game has no MP content at all.
Why would they do that for Halo Infinite? If people want to play the old Halo maps, they're all in Halo: MCC.
Feel free to name the last Halo game that released with only 5 maps, and 2 of them are the same one, just one is daytime and one is night, so 4 maps.
To help you out, Halo 2 released with 9, Halo 3 released with 11, and Reach had 13, 6 originals and 7 remastered old ones, plus forge ones and the ability for players to create their own for custom matches. All of this...ON RELEASE.
And how much time do you think it needs? This game has been in development for 6 years. So, a year and 3 months per map? I guess the upside is their first overpriced mappack won't come out till the end of 2027, assuming it contains 5 maps, so iv got a while to save up.
Ya I don't understand why that's an arena map. You can't even get it in ranked. Its way too large for 4v4.
