Is it just me, or the campagin is boring AF?

I mean its sooo a kid game, I can see front of my eyes how the devs planned everything, "okay, so we lure the player into a big arena then fill up with enemies, and this goes on for 8 hours". Soooooooo boring man, from arena to arena, shoot everybody up, and thats the game. And the story is just a plain simple halo story, nothing more. What is so special of that anyway? This is why I couldnt finish Bioshock, it doesnt matter the atmosphere, the story, if the game is a boring garbage. Oh, and the level design... the same textures in every area in the game where you are not in an open field.

Maybe I am too old for this, saw so many things, but Last of Us 1 wasnt tedious for example, it had a perfect flow, or Jedi Fallen Order was good too it had various tasks, and even World War Z is just a shooter but in a much enjoyable level.

I certainly won't, but I rarely go for DLC. By the time the next story chapter is out I'll have mostly forgotten about the game.

Nope game is awesome. Battle after battle of perfected pitched gunplay and enemy AI. Don't care about the story since I skip cutscenes in 99% of games anyway, the story in these games is always dumb. Campaign interior levels could have used more variety, but outside of that GOTY for me

Anyway... I just started playing Wolfenstein: The new colossus, and it already gave me much bigger impact in the first 2 hour than Halo Infinite did under 12 hour.

Again. They aren't great bosses. They were just ok.

But back in the day the knights were pretty boring to fight. Which is my point.

And once again though I reiterrate. I love halo 4. It's a fantastic game.

Agreed loved it as well. The fact that I don't have any negative memories of Halo 4 says enough for me.

My top 5 fps campaigns is:
1 Half Life 2
2 Resistance 3 (it feels like a Half Life 2 spin off)
3 Wolfenstein The new order
4 Halo 4
5 Max Payne 3

As for the kids game argument, let's just forget it. It's obviously too much of a trigger word nowadays. For me it means simple repetitive tasks which fits Halo Infinite. Fun fact, my kids aren't even interested in Halo Infinite. (They are Fortnite and Rust players) If it can't attract a new generation while failing to entertain the old generation, what's left.

I mean it clearly did well in sales. So apparently a lot lmao. Stop bringing your kids into your steam arguements

And that is reaaaally not for kids. Im just saying to clarify the things. You should read after stuffs before you pre-judge it bro. Also, this vanguard that released this year is heavy stuff too, snipers blowing the dude half-head off and stuff... where was Halo ever that serious? Ok? You still said it was a complex game. It wasn't. Trying to use vanguard, one of the most made fun of games of the year, is a hilarious tactic. As is the whole "Kids game thing". As is the way you talk, and so and so forth.

Now I have played Vanguard, I thought it was ok, but it was just the same thing than the usual bunch. But I wont grass on it, because I would never call vanguard a kids game. And yes you are correct modern warfare is extremely dark. However halo is also quite dark itself, it has extreme levels of torture, and massive amounts of death in some games.

But I dont really feel the need to call games for kids just because I like them. It's just like a child say "ooooooh this gwame is bad, it's fwah babieeeees oooooooooh"

Now some of the other people here have given excellent points on what's wrong with the game. Lack of variety, biomes, and repetition. Those are good reasons.
