Im planning on switching over and putting the hours in once I get a proper desk set up that doesnt have simulator crap on it (Joysticks etc)

When i pick up the xbox controller, even though i suck at controllers i'm 50% constantly and performing the same as with a mouse, the hand holding is far too much for this game to be considered a serious esport.
I agree. If they would tweak the aim assist a bit in order to bring the stats for top 100's closer to each other. Then there would be balance for the top 50 and increase the spread of accuracy between top 50 controller and top 100 mnk. As it stands now. The gap from the average top 50 controller and top 100 mnk is like 3% while mnk top 50 and top 100 mnk is significant.
They can't remove aim assist as it will screw controller players and put them in the same position as us that like mnk, but there definitely has to be some balancing. Otherwise this will not do well as an esport and the community just plainly die on PC. Most casual console players don't really care about esports, but mnk pc users tend to care about it more often. Especially for shooters.

I kept having the controller bug for the longest time until you fixed it for me, thank you!! Was able to shoot down map and close up with the sidekick with virtually no trouble. They need to get rid of bullet magnetism because its wayyyyy too generous.
Yeah. It's pretty scary the night and day difference with a controller vs mnk in terms of accuracy. I haven't played an FPS on controller literally since Halo Combat Evolved on the OG Xbox. So I am INCREDIBLY rusty with a controller in an FPS environment. I went from 35-40% accuracy on mnk to 50-55% on controller. Also my K/D was much better on controller.
I don't think that the answer is to get rid of it, but tweak it to bring skill levels more in line with each other for inputs. Top 100 mnk should be on par with top 100 controllers same with top 50 which is the average player. The accuracy disparity at those skill levels is too large. Positioning doesn't help, strafing doesn't help, jumping doesn't help as the controller will micro adjust and soft track. So you can't really juke people with a controller like you can people with mnk.
literally everyone can be good at this game now u dont need any skill for it because the hard part tracking/aiming is doing the AA for you :D

The game is a console port. Obviously there's going to be aim assist. You can't aim on a controller at all. Even when I play on my Series X, I have a hard time getting a kill.
I jump on mouse and keyboard and I do a lot better. So please, tell me again how aim assist is better?
The problem here, is that the game doesn't have an anti cheat and console players are using modded controllers and Cronus Zen.
