It didn't feel this bad in MCC, so I'm not sure what got them to up the ante, this game has way more strafing, and it hard punishes KBM users, while it does nothing to controller users.
Even if im punished i still greatly enjoy beating other good players on controller. LIke i heard a streamer once say," playing ranked cross play is like the equivalent of being in a hyperbolic chamber (DBZ)".... so when you go back to mouse only playlist you will have insane aim and destroy everyone.
I'm a controller player and I'm actually experimenting with keeping my controller in my left hand and reaching for the mouse *just* for sniping, it's seriously much better to snipe on mouse lol.
Whenever I get a sniper or skewer I'll reach on to my mouse. It's funny because they deliberately added a 1 second block to all inputs when switching in the MCC, but they didn't bother here, so you can actually use a controller AND mouse together.
Stalker has some, hydra none, pulse very little. list goes on.
Is this true
you also have to decide whether you want to no scope or scope, its very difficult when you get descoped on controller in this title.
Furthermore, aim acceleration is hard coded as different ratios on vertical/horizontal, you cant have even sensitivity on both axis no matter what.
also side note, keyboard still gets bullet magnetism which is stronger than aim assist. Aim assist doesnt really do anything, it just gets you close. bullet magnetism will bend rounds drastically to fire offbore from the reticle, controller players are just more used to playing in red reticle range it seems.
It doesnt help that 343i removed RRR from the game for multiplayer to prevent trigger macros whenever the reticle is red. or <insert anticheat excuse here>
No it isn't. The sidekick pistol has an absurd amount of aim assist as well, and when you combine it with rapid fire strikepack controller mods it becomes impossible to win a straight fight against controller players as a mouse player.
I would just like to play with mnk as I have almost exclusively played all FPS on mnk. Just feels right.
Must just suck idk
If you are playing with controller you shouldn't be having issues. You may have the "bug" where even though you plug in your controller, but get no aim assist.
To fix that. Just right click the game in the library and go to properties and select controllers and the drop down select disable steam input. Apparently there is a conflict with the game and Steam. At least that worked for me. You will see and feel a difference in aiming with controller.
