Washed out contrast in borderless full screen with HDR on
Just today I started having an issue with the game's contrast being greyish and washed out when in borderless full screen. If I press the windows key to bring up the taskbar at the bottom of the screen, or if I press the Win+G shortcut to bring up Xbox game bar stuff, the colors are correct until I bring focus back to the game again. Something with the game is not using the right color space or something. I also remember if I brought up Steam overlay it used to be overly bright and contrasty and now that isn't happening anymore. It's like the game first desaturates itself and then resaturates itself to get the right colors and now it's not doing the resaturate part anymore. Anyone else running into this issue with HDR?

Same here, seems to be only this game that has an issue of over saturating the colors for me if I use HDR. If I turn it off it becomes so washed out and grey. Idk if its because of my new monitor or what. I've been messing with the settings like crazy to fix it, but to no avail.

I ended up uninstalling my drivers with DDU and reinstalling them, issue seems resolved for now. I've never had an issue of it being oversaturated, but I do think the contrast is a bit blown out no matter whether I have HDR on or off. Not sure if this is what you mean. Overall the colors are fine, but when looking at the sun or at a shiny reflective surface it's too bright. And I've tried messing with HDR settings all the way down etc, it doesn't fix the blown out problem it just makes things darker.

HDR on PC is such a nightmare that I gave up on it years ago. Hook up a console to a TV and it's literally one and done, it just works. On Windows, it's just a headache.
