I used a controller for a few days to see what it was about, and yeah, it's BS.
The reason why, as a M&K player, you're bad at controller, is because you're actually bad at both M&K AND controller. Maybe own up to the fact that you're just not that great at the game and get better. This game is not just about aiming. It's about aiming, positioning, power weapon control, point control and teamwork. It's an arena shooter. Not to mention the people who are probably outplaying you on controller have been playing this FOR 20 YEARS ON CONTROLLER. Use your brain please.
And if you really think you're that good on a controller - go play crossplay ranked diamond+
Ask yourself why you'll never get a controller player to play with the assist completely turned off. There's a reason for it.
Doesn't everyone have a controller?
Just plug in your controller.
This game is a console shooter first and foremost. It should cater to the consoles, just be thankful you can play it on your PC too.
(I play the game exclusive KBM, I just don't care and play for fun).
Theater is broken, you can't rely on that. I've rewatched my gameplay, and I was hitting people when not aiming at them. I think this is more along the lines of not being good.
Look dude, aim assist in infinite and the bullet magnetism (both inputs have this latter feature), is very low compared to any other Halo game. You just want to dominate controller players without any challenge, then when that's done attack your fellow MnK users on their rigs, mouses, and keyboards/monitors.. Seen it with other games, this is no exception. I find it truly hilarious, every other game MnK is destroying people, but you come to a game that rewards aim rather than twitch shooting you get beamed.
You're right. Everyone has a controller. And they have tried to use it. But they're bad at both M&K and controller due to very bad power weapon control, positioning, alley control and various other things, so they purely moan at aim assist on controller, while also being killed on M&K just to make themselves feel better, and to gain internet sympathy, really quite sad. When in reality, it's really the person aiming the weapon who should be blamed for the crime - or in this case, the bad play :) :) :)
Happy trollfestivus bad players
but, but i have noticed once every 10 - 15 games my aim assist gets to strong one time was aiming at a guy and he went behind a piller and my crosshair tracked him.
i think whats happening is the server is "lagging" behind in inputs from the game. hence why people die behind walls or aim assist all of a sudden becomes strong.
Enjoy aimz
Controller players are the entitled brats that think they should be able compete with a mouse. Keep in mind that in the flights for Infinite when aim assist was apparently reduced, the forums were full of players crying about it being "unfair" to play against KB/M. They were begging for global crossplay filters so they could filter us out, even though this was after 1 year of MCC crossplay where not a single one of them souls cared and they were happy to match against KB/M then with their aimbot.
KB/M players generally have no interest in this, we don't want to play against you or have you on our teams. We don't want to plug in a controller and become another spectator who has the input aim for them. This is something controller players can't possibly fathom, that someone doesn't want to grasp at any pathetic advantage they can. You might as well be playing cookie clicker.
