Do you need to find all skulls in a save file to get 100%

im trying to 100% the game but im unsure if i have to get all skulls on a single file

i don't think so, the skulls are global. So you pick one up, its picked up for all your saves.

I believe so. I do not recall hitting 100% on my heroic run until I did my easy speedrun and grabbed all the remaining mission skulls I missed.

skulls and collectables are shared over your four possible saves. if you missed some that are mission specific, you can grab them in a new save.

but would they add to the 100% meter on every save file thats really what i care about the most

The skulls and audio files are cumulative. When collected in one save, they are automatically collected in all saves.

collectibles can be found in separate playthrough, they will be overwriten with correct items.
