Marines almost never die?

Aside from getting run over I havent really seen them die, just got done watching a group of 4 prisoners solo a brute hammer chieftain in a melee fight with no deaths.

I watched a whole group of marines get taken out by one charging brute, but I was on legendary

I was too? I've watched chargers punch the ♥♥♥♥ out of marines to no effect.

Yeah I know exactly what difficulty im on, while funny to watch a marine get knocked in the chops 10 times without reacting by the chargers, it wasnt very interesting.

im on heroic and its been a mix, ive seen them not die to stuff they should and also die super easy

edit: i think the less there are the better they survive but not sure
edit: just hit one with warthog and he lived

Im starting to think that prison soldiers are tougher than normal ones exponentially

every marine in a squad you need to rescue can die except for one. i imagine that this is to prevent the player from actually failing these "rescues", even on higher difficulties. you can kill all of them and then spend the next hour or so dumping every weapon you have into the last one, it won't make a difference.

Give all your marines a sentinel beam or skewer for op destruction even on legendary lol they absolutely go ham with those weapons

Three enemies that will kill them for sure: Sword Elites, Enraged Brutes, & YapYap the Destroyer.

I have entire squads becoming football prcatice dummies or ravanger spam death from oversheild brutes.

I have not used a rocket launcher once so far in the campaign. I hand it to the nearest marine since they won't run out of ammo.

Power weapons are way better in the hands of marines as they can fire accurately and forever. With the amount of enemies in encounters I always bring BR & Commando so I can refill at ammo stations.

Your game sounds broken if you telling the truth. A brute sniper (Skewer) Or even a jackal sniper on legendary can one hit a marine. And if you like me, who shed a tear each time one marine dies, it will be a tough road for you.
