Nope, game pass doesn't work either, i have tried both. 6PM UTC on the 8th only.

i can do in on gamepass, but i own the campaign on steam and i don't want to download it twice :(

If you have game pass ultimate you can download the campaign for free, i have tried but every time it just downloads the multi-player.

If you have downloaded the MP you don't need to pre install anything.

Do you have a source on this information that you can link to? I don't think the campaign is going to be an additional 60 gigs, I think it's going to be an additional 10-20 on top of the base download, but since I don't have a source I'm just going to say this is an assumption and not fact.

That's 2 am on the 9th for me. This is gonna be the first time Halo is not releasing in my timezone at midnight. Sad.

Yeah but that's downloading the campaign as a standalone download, not as an addon to the multiplayer like it is on Steam. Over here they should share some assets since they're part of the same package.

To explain another way, that download on Gamepass is listed as Halo Infinite Campaign. That download is a standalone download that lets you play the campaign. here on steam the campaign is sold as a DLC to the base game that is currently just the multiplayer.. so it should just be downloading some additional stuff for the campaign itself, rather than downloading the entire package all over again.

I can do indeed, when I add the campaign to the download queue this is what I see.

Again, that's the gamepass download. That's the campaign as a standalone download. you're downloading the ENTIRE game there. Over here on steam the campaign is DLC to the multiplayer part we've already downloaded, so presumably we've already downloaded at least half of the game.

If it works the way I assume it will, we'll only have to download anything that's unique to the campaign.. voice lines, maybe some textures, level data, etc.. but a lot of it should be shared between the SP and MP aspects, so I think it'll be a 10-20 gig download here, assuming you already have the base (what is currently just multiplayer) installed.

I dont disagree with you but my steam install is the same size as the gamepass for the multiplayer. I still expect it to be 60 gigs. Either way it wont be over 100 gigs as most games are now. I wish they would have just done a pre-download.
