So... what happened to the shotgun? What happened to Halo?

What was originally its Kill range, will now barely knock shields off,
It use to be the one major counter for sword play, but now to full kill anyone with it quickly is point blank shot + melee?
And you can MISS at point blank?

And where the ♥♥♥♥ are all the classic weapons?
What is this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ awful not-flamethrower?
Plasma pistols no longer disable Vehicles? Why the ♥♥♥♥ is it even still in the game?

Why are the shock weapons ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ too?
They don't stun vehicles long enough to be useful, One is a worse sniper rifle, and the other is literally just an electric water pistol. Good luck taking down cars, let alone it actually killing anyone.

What did you do to Halo 343?
Why is it a massive dumpster fire of in balance?
How is the Forge mode suppose to be in any way interesting with weapon balance this terrible?

Whats going to happen to all the loved classic modes?
Swat? A BR shot to the body will instantly kill you if all 3 rounds hit.
Infection? The shotguns almost entirely worthless because of how tight the cone of fire is.

From what i gather from the Bulldog, its decent in that short but not point blank range.

Ya the new shotty is pure trashfire. It takes two shots even when up close and aimed perfectly. I want the old pump shotty back that one shots.

The issue is you expecting the Bulldog to function exactly like the classic Shotgun when that's not even its role

New Shotty is indeed kind of crap. It's basically Human version of Mangler. Medium range, and takes like 3 shots to kill but has faster rate of fire. The real Shotgun isn't in the game yet. Interestingly the bulltrue medal is still there. But you wont get it unless your teammate dropped the sword guys shields first lol.

Shoot once and then hit with melee, that's what I do. I can't find any other uses for it.

I'm completely baffled at this entire thread.

The shotgun is a two shot monster, and if you have a grappleshot you can use it to close distance to an enemy in an open area.

I get plenty of kills with the shotgun I'd love to show how I use it on my stream but I think streaming is lame and dumb now lol

Well, tbh I normally say all weapons has their own respective goal in mind, but that shotgun legit is a peashooter. And never once has I been killed by it without them being assisted by another player. AND IT IS ME WE TALKING ABOUT! THE SUB ZERO SKILLS MASTER

Then again, I almost never get into close-combat, since I am a csgo player so distance is where I am at.
