cannot hear other players

i have tried everything but i cannot hear other players but they can hear me. how do i fix it?

Wait. Do you want to hear others people yelling at you?

There is a option to "raise" voice in game. I think, 7 is for default. Maybe increase it to 10.
If you are using controller, you can try to plug headset to controller.

Screaming, Yelling and hearing everything from the Household is not worth it....

I had this problem. Turns out, while the whole rest of the game was coming through my headset as expected, only the voice chat was trying to come through some NVIDIA High Def Audio thing that wasn't working.

Go into your computer's sound settings, and disable all output devices except for the one you're using.

It’s no fun unless you can talk to people. If they are mean I can just mute or ignore I don’t mind. I’ll never see these people in rl anyway. Just makes the game more interesting to me is all.

Yes mic is functional because my boyfriend could hear me and I see my mic moving on the screen but no sound from others lol

seems random to me some people hear me, but i cant hear them and sometimes i hear people but they dont hear me

I think it's cause VC is defaulted to disabled for everyone?
