PC Optimisation and Adding Fullscreen
for people with lower-mid end PC's I think adding a normal full screen option would be a necessary addition. most lower-mid end PC's get drastically reduced frames and increased input lag on borderless windowed, and yet this game doesn't seem to give you the choice for even toggling it. to have a competitive fps game and not give the choice for basic full screen is a bit absurd. could this be patched in sometime soon?

very weird that we don't have fullscreen when they made a whole ass video talking about how the pc version was built from the ground up rich with features blah blah

all recent games i play don't offer true fullscreen and it is really upsetting i don't get the point of phasing it out especially one's that DONT LOCK THE MOUSE IN THE WINDOW

Direct3D 12 optimizations/changes make it so that borderless is (effectively) performing around the same as exclusive fullscreen.

D12 literally has no fullscreen. Is it stupid? yes.
Can they do anything to fix it themselves? No
Its an issue from the directx team. They claim it doesnt matter but I've literally had my mouse stuck outside of my main monitor because of the stupid borderless

^ There wont be exclusive fullscreen modes for pretty much all modern games going forward, its not in the DX12 api. It was only required for DX11 games for obvious reasons which dont affect DX12 games.

then why do dx12 games have full screen? grim dawn, mordhau, several others.

grim dawn does not support directx 12 and mordhau is by default using directx 11
directx 12 borderless fullscreen works the same as the old fullscreen, it doesn't add input lag at all
Half done work because of the lord-hardware its being made on that is what it comes down to and im not trying to take unfair shots at all.

Even if developers can not ever say it it is fair to say this and absolutely true just like the poor optimization for LOWER or MID PC just NOT being done.

That effort is not being made like it once was because the new trend is to let a game BLOAT and FATTEN and call it next gen features with none of the work being done to hold the Balance in check for less able cards and systems.

The AAA game makers are in delusion taking a small percentage of boundary pushing systems and saying that right now of all times{with the Corporate Lying GPU makers and Board and RAM manufactures not giving a crap about Gamer's while looking for that extra $$$ during a REAL world crisis} is the time to do half work say it is next gen and cut off the other two halves of the entire market.

I love tech pushing and taking down the NO-tape and am as happy and excited as any other person to see truly AWESOME hardware being worked on and made but everything else from sales practices to even AAA game development that is going on is DISGUSTING and shameful.
