Yup. I guess Apex, CoD, and Minecraft are dead too :/
343 had a lot to prove with this one and they totally failed. They had more time and resources than anyone has ever had to make a Halo, and it's an 'alright' shooter with barriers to fun all over the place.
Usual story of development hell due to poor management and planning. But that's Microsoft for you, they have a monopoly so they never need to innovate or improve.
