There are massive optimization issues, at native 1080p without DRS, it takes an RTX 3080 to reach stable 60fps during campaign.
Mine is set to 120 min and max to stop card wanting to burn its self GPU runs really hot if i let it go for 144 only in this game its really weird when game first came out had 80c sitting in menu for reason lol

Do yourself a favour and never look at a 100+Hz monitor or you will break immersion with 60fps screens for life, lol.
i have a 60hz screen hooked up to my pc as well as a 43" uhd tv, but i lower the res to 1080p @60 to match the monitor. the tv is 120hz, but i honestly couldn't see any difference from 60-120fps on the games i play. i don't play with uncapped frames as i hate tearing.
lo that's just just silly. both are smooth. hell even 30fps can be smooth (if done right)
60fps is still fine for gaming and is in no way a slideshow. not everyone wants or needs the very latest bleeding edge tech.
i sidegrade to save money and i bet others do too. sure, if your rich, by all means get the latest stuff, 144hz, 3090, nvme, 11th gen etc.
don't need all that to play the latest games though. some say future proof but i see people upgrading whenever a new gpu comes out, which i don't understand, more money then sense i guess, the whole idea of future proofing is to build a pc that doesn't need upgrading for at least a few years.
i also upgraded my cpu but only to 8th gen 8700k which will do me fine for now, mobo supports 9th gen so that's good for later.
