Remove in-game "bans" until connectivity issues are fixed
Title.

And no, I am not talking about removing "bans" as in a player is cheating and using tool-assisted cheats/programs/scripts to win, but the bans that occur when a player leaves or disconnects from a game. I understand the punishment to reprimand a player for leaving consecutive games within an x span of time, but to punish players who weigh no fault in abandoning their teammates or have any intent on leaving a match is egregious.

there's no way you've been disconnected from enough matches to get banned only from that. either fix ur internet or stop leaving matches.

This must be a bait post because you are 100% wrong lol. Ask the hundreds of thousands of players that get the "User is banned" notification when the game disconnects them enough times.

you really making up statistics now huh? "hundreds of thousands"
besides, there was only problems with BTB, and 343i has fixed that now.

I see that you don't understand what "hundreds of thousands" means but I recommend you look it up. While you do that, I also recommend you look up crash bans, resulting in the "User is banned" message from having disconnected from a matchmade queue, both in ranked and unranked gameplay.

User @iamsawkss writes, "Ill keep this updated, i really hope the support team comes through and looks at my match history and sees i didnt do anything. Must have banned me by mistake because the friend that DC in my game didnt even get a timer and i finished the game 2v4 and still got banned"

Another user @Celestis writes, "Good luck with that. From my experience 343 does not lift bans.
I got banned because the game kept constantly crashing after a respawn. I submitted a support ticket with video evidence of the crash happening. The support person themselves told me to appeal the ban.
So I sent an appeal and got a reply the very same day:"
and follows with a response from Halo Infinite support:
Please note that disconnecting from games will result in temporary bans from matchmaking as it affects the entire lobby. This is intentional and bans of this nature are not reviewable or editable.

Despite the vast evidence that you refuse to acknowledge, having replied with the above shows that you are silly.

No issue with connectivity. No issue with PC performance. Please do your research next time before coming here with goofy, useless information that helps nobody here. I also can't take you seriously with a VAC & game ban on your Steam profile.

every single "point" here is about the game crashing, not about disconnecting due to "connectivity issues" as the title of your post states.

what evidence? where are the connectivity problems, and how is it 343i's fault?

No issue with connectivity. No issue with PC performance.
latency/down/up does not equal stability.

no you're just using the fact that i have a ban as a scapegoat, because you know i'm right, and you're not.

dud what lol? did you read anything at all n do you know that ppl crashing has the same relevance of connection issues. that doesn't always mean its the players fault, this game is huuuge on ppl having issues with the server not to mention how this game always has that "multiplayer is currently down message

Especially since they still haven't allowed anyone to actually choose their game mode.

This is the worst idea I have seen on this forum thus far. Remove bans? Bans exist for a reason OK when people don't follow the rules they will get bans over time they exist because people break the rules. And you want to remove them? I don't think so absolutely not! :steamfacepalm:
