Please let us turn off personal AIs

You let us shut up the annoying spartan chatter. Now let us shut up the obnoxious, ridiculously out of place AI voices.

I get they're trying to give players the fantasy of having their own Cortana, but Cortana didn't feel the need to constantly point out the blatantly obvious. Yes, BUTLR, I know the skewer just spawned. There's a big floating marker on my HUD with a timer. I couldn't miss it if I tried.

I second this notion. I also wish I could choose an AI that's just the announcer's voice. 343 knows how to pick 'em.

Pretty sure you could just un-equip the ai?
it let me do it in the preview, I didn't try a game without one to see if it actually applied it though.

When I tried it, it told me that this slot does not allow unequipping to empty.

huh. maybe somehow it just un-equipped for me as a bug, or had a blank icon loaded or something.

Spartan chatter can disable least in flight build, they thinking to make option to mute MP personal AI too in launch or later so 343I know not everyone like these voices but main announcer prob cant be mute and i dont think no one minds his voice since original voice since Combat evolded also i find it weird in BTB mode we dont hear his voices at all? it is bad move! i just hope female BTB announcer voice was jsut placeholder and his audio was not ready in flight 3?

Halo Infinite crashes on PC if you delete the annoying A.I. Chatter Voices. While in previous seasons, I was able to delete them without repercussion.

Has there been a work around to this?

I have a solution for you, change it to different voice language, say for example, Japanese (cuz why not?), then problem solved. No more "pointing out the obvious", now it's just background chatter that keeps your head sharp and focused, and you don't understand what they're saying.

Because I also want the original Jeff Steitzer Halo announcer voice as well! :)
