The Chorus trilogy was a perfect ending. It rounded up years of a community-driven webseries that rarely ever lost it's charm, and managed to give us an emotional send-off. Season 14 was a nice bonus. Seasons 15 and 16, however, just don't hit right at all. I appreciate some things they did, but they were still inferior.
Red team was always the main draw, atleast imo.
But blue team was already a mess that'll never truly recover from Joels departure to be honest.
Just gimme Arby 'n' the Chief instead. Halo Infinities is teh moast gaem evar.
The last I watched it, which might have been a year ago now, there was no humour remaining in it, and instead of having colourful situations and entertaining reactions, they had filled the show with cringy, sappy, and pretentious speeches that were, well, lame. As far as I'm concerned, in order to make the show good again, they have to retcon everything after season 12 or whichever it was where Church took off.
And without Church as a main character, the show just doesn't have punch to it. It's as if he was replaced with Caroline, who is one of the most boring characters in any show and makes the whole thing flatline a bit.
They should start again after season 12 and return to the earlier episodes' approach to humour and situations. That's RvB. Not the pretentious and uninspired stuff they've been doing for years now.
