Adding DLC tracks to Career mode?
Is there any way to do this? I bought Knoxville, but it's not in the career season schedule. I think it would be nice if there was a way to add it into career. Also, on a side note, is the 'Simulate Race' option broken? I have a maxed out 3 star TQ, but when I sim the race, it always does poorly.

Problem is there named different than in game like knoxville = Xigua. I know Five Forks = Honeydew, Rockberry = Rutabega and I19 = Cucumber, thats as fars as I got. but you can play career and run knoxville in place of these tracks. back up origanol files . Hope this helps.

Sorry, DLC tracks are not usable in career.

Simulate Race will generally not result in as good a finish as if you actually did the race. Out of curiosity, what kind of finish positions are you getting when you sim races?

Thanks for the reply. Well, with the TQ's I was getting 20-30th place when simmed. I mean, I get that it's not going to do as well as if I actually drove the car, but with a maxed out (3 star) car, I figured a top 10 was reasonable. I'm no game developer, but in my head it would make sense if there were ranges of placement based of what parts are installed in the car. For example, 1-10 for 3 star, 11-20 for 2 star, and 21-30 for 1 star. Obviously this isn't doable, because of the different combination of parts possible. Maybe if hiring/training a driver was possible. Really love the game though. Other than the few stutters I've had with it, it's been pretty flawless.

I don't know the specific intended tuning, but 20th-30th does seem a bit low. I'll take a quick look and check that there's nothing obviously broken.

And thanks for the feedback. Glad you're enjoying it!

Well, I'm glad you guys had the idea to make the game. It's been really fun, and I can't wait until I can get a racing wheel for some more immersion. Thanks for looking into this.

Maybe for the next Sprint Car game (if there are plans for one) Knoxville could be included in Career Mode, and let us be able to hire/train drivers for our cars. Could have two options, 1. hire a driver as just a substitute for 1 race (or a set of races), or 2. Hire a driver at the beginning of the season, for the whole season, and their abilities could get better (along with pay) as the season progresses.

Honestly, the ability to make custom race seasons would be the only reason I pay the high price for a single track DLC. The inability to include future DLC tracks in any kind of race season or career mode will most likely discourage me from purchasing.

I agree with this ^^^^^^ 100%; I imagine Eldora coming at some point as well given Tony owns it but won't buy anything I can't use in all the game modes.

Well that is really cool. Thanks for sharing. Would you happen to know which one is Sugarbush?
TrenchDigger Jun 9, 2020 @ 2:18pm
No I haven't found it . You kinda have to replace a track then go see which one it replace, so pretty slow going.

Just curious if anyone found any more of these name crossovers?
