Support for 2 steering wheels in split screen?
Force feedback is broken for the second wheel in splitscreen in NASCAR Heat 4. Is it the same for this game?

Hi!

I just tested split screen in the game with two wheels and confirmed that force feedback worked properly for both of them. Can I ask which two wheels you're using, specifically? I can't guarantee anything, but I may be able to test with those particular wheels.

Thanks,
Evan

Sounds promising. :-)
I use two Logitech G29 wheels.

As I mentioned I tried them with NASCAR Heat 4 and couldn’t get the force feedback to work on both wheels in splitscreen so I reported the error and refunded the game. So please forward the issue to your colleagues working on the NASCAR Heat series.

Well, I don't have 2 G29s at hand, but I did just play split screen with a G29 and a G920, and force feedback worked on both wheels.

I am curious: do both wheels show up as separate devices in the Logitech Gaming Software Settings, with different settings for "Allow Game to Adjust Force Settings"? And have you played other PC games where both wheels get force feedback? It's not likely, but I just want to be sure there's no inherent limitation in the Logitech software.

Thanks for testing and being active on the forum. Really appreciate it. The wheels have worked in splitscreen before on other games like: Dirt 3, Grid Autosport, Collin McRae Rally 2005 and BAJA: edge of control. A week before testing NASCAR Heat4 we played Sonic Allstars Racing Transformed with four G29 wheels using x360ce with dead zone elimination to get it to work.
These wheels have worked in several games before.
They show up in the control panel and the Logitech Hub. In NASCAR Heat 4 force feedback was active on both wheels when the player1 inputs were targeting both wheels at the same time. When I removed the bindings and fixed it so it was 1 wheel for each player the force feedback for the player 2 wheel didn’t work.

Things that may have differed since last time wheels worked:
• Windows update
• Used different USBports.

I can try Dirt3 some time this weekend with the same USB ports as I used for NASCAR to check that the setup still works.

Thanks for the info! No need to run more tests; I just wanted to rule out any hardware limitations that might cause force feedback not to work properly in the game.

OK. I was a bit curious myself so I've now tested the steering wheels with Dirt 3, both wheels work and both have proper force feedback for each wheel (and I used the same usb ports as I did for Nascar heat 4).

Will the G27 be supported for this game?

I have the identical issue as supersmo.

My two Thrustmaster T150 don't work properly with NASCAR Heat 4.

The game has problems with identical steering wheels....

Hi @fat luum,

Are you having problems with this game, as well? I have played with 2 T150s successfully, but would love to help try to sort it out if you are having problems.
