Something to say to the Team
I think when game is good you don't have to talk about it. When you buy a game, you Expect it to be good. Good is default. Should be, at least.

There are so many different games out there. Some are good. Some are bad.
Some are real trash. And some are Those games.
Like, awesome stuff, that you enjoy every minute of it.
And right after you finish that masterpiece, you want to immediately start it again. We, players, value that kind of games very much.

But this game does not belong to this list.
Was it really good? No.
Will I play it again? No.

You named it 'Not a game'.
And you were right. That is not a game.
What had I expected from this game?
Well, maybe a few mini games, several jokes around breaking a wall between user and narator.
But what have I got?
What have I got, Team, is a pure Joy.
That kind of child Joy which most of us had forgot a long time ago.
Why? Because we can't be surprised. We see how games get their new 2k, 4k, 16k graphics, become deeper and deeper. But we know, what we will get, what we can expect. From the graphics, from the story, from the gameplay. And that when we loose that very chance to feel a Joy from the game.
And so was I. There are lot of cool games that I enjoy every year on all platforms.
But this time was different.
I was missing the feel that I was playing a game.
I felt like I was a part of something else.
A part of an adventure, and had no idea what lies around the corner.
Every chapter was different, step by step I started to not only understand but feel the whole story. Every riddle was good enough to occupy grown man for a whule, but not impossible. Game design is awesome, voices are awesome. GG song I will be listening for next month that I can be sure.

So was it really good?
No.
Because I can't rate my experience from this game in the same way I rate other games. Well, maybe, because that was not a game at all?
And will I play it again?
No.
Because that feeling cannot and should not be repeated. That js something totally unique.
I want to keep it that way.

And I won't forget it.

P.S.
Forgive me for bad eng., not my first language

The name of the studio, Draw Me A Pixel, is inspired by the book 'The little prince' from St Exupéry. (This author was from Lyon in France, the town where I'm writing right now)

The book tells the story of adult people who have forgotten that they were otherwise children. And that's exactly what "There is no game" is trying to do: bring back to childhood, to amazement, to surprise, to wonder.
I do not know if it is completely successful but it was done with heart.

So yes, I can understand that this non-game may feel weird, unclassifiable or 'silly'.
But, even if it's not really a 'game', our main goal here was to make something memorable.

If that's the case for some players, then we succeeded. :)

I would rather say refreshing, astonishing and cheerful :)
And wow, I never thought that studio name was related to the 'draw me a sheep' even though name sound familiar for some reason.

And I also have a question.

Considering the open ending, there definitely are(or were) plans for a not a sequel for this not a game.

But the same concept certainly won't give the same impression for the second (or, again, considering 2015 game, even third) time. It still can be done good enough to have a good time playin it, as I m sure you are able to accomplish.

So do you actually have any plans for continuing this story? :)
For me it's hard to imagine how it can look like. Totally not 3d, as it's too hard to move the whole idea to the 3rd demention and require much more resources.
Maybe continue story and refresh it with some kind of coop for game and gg. But then again even though coops are fun and quite popular, my poor imagination can't come up with ideas of such gamedesign in coop. And what if player will be solo? Well, actually in the latest Thrine game they did some riddles changes depending if game is in solo or coop mode so thats quite possible also.

Anyway, I believe that whatever you will bring us next, it will be not less than at Awesome level. :)

The ending video isn't related to any sequel. In fact, nobody really understand what I wanted to show. ^^
Explaination : when Mr Wilhem exploded, he got transported into the cinema dimension and now appears in EVERY films. (Wilhelm scream)

We don't plan to do a sequel to this game, at least for the moment, for 2 reasons. First, I'm washed out of ideas about the fourth wall. Second, sequels rarely commercially work. (sadly)
So we will make something different. :)

If you are making another game, will the play style be slimier to this?
