There Is No Game: Wrong Dimension

I find it tedious
I think I figured out why i don't think this game is actually fun...

It tries to be a lot like Trollfacequest. but fails emulating the same level of cheekiness one expects from a troll.

I mean, even the "ltilt the oading bar' gag is in it, so why isn't it fun but tedious?

Let's look at the original
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idpeDHeEG-s

See that? The answer is super simple.
Each task got SEVERAL solutions and trying all of them can be a lot of tun. Sometimes you have to combine two nonsensical logic's to create your own.

In this non game there is only one solution. Always. One way and no freedom to deviate. So if you don't think like the game wants it, screw you!

Not just can't you not advance but there is no fun trying things out.

The worst offender for me was using the tongue as brush. That's just forced. I rather would have glued the penny to the moon after licking it. But nah. I can't do that. We have to use the buckets twice.

...
Ok perhaps another more easier example. The language flags.
You HAD to use the french one to get the key

That's boring!! I was wondering why you even bothered giving me all if just one works!?

Why not... DRUMROLL...
Let us use ALL flags!
I know. Genius isn't it??

Imagine:
Using the German flag... He steals it and tears it up.

Using the Russian flag he complains about NOT being Russian and throws it back at ya

Using the french flag.... He tells a bit about his lost love.or a fond memory??? Distracting him long enough to steal the key.

...
Aha! Annnnd suddenly it's fun to try stuff and explore possibilities. Exchange yourself with others even. Fool around. You get the idea.

(Makes me think of scribblenauts huh)

Anyhow. That's where the game is like an open world game without any Sidequests or caves.
It just feels linear as hell. Restricted. Tedious. That's why your clues have to be so on the nose too.

If I figure out i can use One flag... I totally try them all. Perhaps even go back to avoid the right solution to find alternative voice lines.

(Danish flag/food makes him sick!?
Spanisch flag he replies an insult...in Spanish (makes u look it up! Some might think it's a clue lol?)
Etc

As it is the game is more like:
"You are having fun the wrong Way*

You know you have to code thing for them to be in a game right ?

Also you say this : "In this non game there is only one solution. Always. One way and no freedom to deviate. So if you don't think like the game wants it, screw you!"
Like this other game you showed, many possibilities, but only 1 solution in the end makes you advance to the next level. Saying " Each task got SEVERAL solutions" is just wrong.

On the 1st chapter when you need to open the door you have some objects you can use to try to open the door (The cursor, the key, knocking on the door) .
In the end you need to use the French flag to open the door, but you seem to have forgot why it's the only available flag. You need to use the key you got previously to unlock the only key shaped lock, it's that simple, just a simple puzzle form a point and click game.

And that's the main point. this game is firstly a Point and click game not "an open world game without any Sidequests or caves". You don't seem to be very familiar with this kind of games. Most of point and click game (Deponia, Myst, putt putt, Grim Fandango, Monkey Island to cite a few) only have 1 solutions, but many objects and things to try for everything ou ca ninteract with.
