Coffee puzzle

I just completed the coffee puzzle, which has been the only illogical puzzle so far in the game, and sadly the only one I had to use all three hints to solve, having not used any hints so far, thus breaking my otherwise perfect streak, even illiciting a boo. :(

Maybe it's an obvious puzzle to those who regularly drink coffee, but alas I am not one of those. I was expecting having to burn his hand on the light, and then on the coffee mug, causing him to drop the mug on top of the router.

I think this puzzle needs to be changed, to make it more obvious what needs to be done, and less dependant on hints.

You don't need to use the hints or know anything about coffee. When you make one, he drinks it and comments about what he does or doesn't like. It's all audio clues. I got the recipe right on the third try.

Nope. All he says is "Why has my settings all changed?" every single time.

iirc GiGi says something like "His router been buggy when he spill coffee on it last time"

Combined with GiGi's hint, I thought I needed to make him spill his coffee. I figured giving him against his normal settings would do it. No hints needed!

Its ok, no one's perfect. =)

Wow, that's quite the passive aggressive way of saying "I'm better than you", and a completely unnecessary comment. Like I already said, it's the puzzle that's faulty, not my hearing.

There is nothing that suggests that giving him any combination outside his normal settings work. After all, the hints mention giving him a specific combination.

As for the audio clues, Kunovega, I figured you meant that he'd say what he liked or disliked with speech. Now I guess you actually meant whether he drinks it normally or makes noises. That's not helpful either, because no matter if I change one or all three choices, he gives the same response. It doesn't tell me that I should try a specific combination.

So the puzzle is broken, period. There's no clues that tell you what you should do, except for the hints that of course specify it outright. And then there's the lamp, which seems to be important for the puzzle, but isn't.

I hope Kamizoto comes by and explains how this puzzle is supposed to work, and hopefully fixes it.

And just to completely disprove this, try giving him Espresso, Sweetener, Latte. It won't work.

It's not broken when you are one of very few people who didn't figure it out

After you change a setting, you get a hint from GiGi. It was pretty obvious unless at the time it was different, which I don't think it was.

Wow, I really didn't mean that to insult you at all. You seemed upset that you couldn't get them all, and I just wanted you to feel better. Its really ok. Its just a fun game!

Actually there is. Gigi tell you what he like and to absolutly do not give him something else.

There was a puzzle there? I just gave him espresso, black, and he spit it right out onto the router. I just figured the guy looked tired, so bitter was better.

It took me three tries. The first one I got wrong but he just didn't like it. Then I figured out what he really likes and he drank that happily. Then I realized I was supposed to be getting him to either spill it or spit it out and caused it on the third attempt.

The puzzle is NOT broken and there is a clue that tells you what to do. I figured it out on my first try with the audio clue from Gigi. Maybe it just went over your head? And I'm not saying that in a mean way at all. There was a puzzle or two that went over my head at first.

There was a guide on this that said "use anything strong" and when I tried Long + Sugar + Strong, nothing happened. He just said "These appliances are driving me crazy."

Meaning not "Everything with strong" works. The specific hint at the end states that it needs "Strong, Sugar-free Espresso." I have yet to get a hint from GiGi stating that he spilled on the router, she just commented that "It's just the router." She wouldn't give me any other audio clues regardless of how many times I tried giving him coffee (I gave him about 8 by this point.)
