Is this end of game support?
After one week there are no uptdates. beta is still at 0.18. No in game controller settings.

There's a lot of things that need addressing and if the developer is going to do everything in one hit (as well as intoduce the new content) then it's going to take a little longer than a couple of weeks to get this one fixed. The only concern is, if Hotshot Racing is released beforehand then it's 'game over' for FRR and that might mean the dev/s drop all support regardless of if it's fixed or not. Ain't no point flogging a dead horse, so to speak....

I don't think, that Hotshot Racing means "Game Over". Formula Retro Racing has a more "conservative" approach, it is more true retro and might keep this niche.

The last update message said: "Stay tuned for more updates coming soon." Let's hope so.

Hi,

No we haven't ended support. Following the recent update in the Beta branch which includes modifications to the AI, fixes the reduction in handling following a crash and adds the option to reposition the tachometer, we are now currently working on a total re-implementation of the input system which will provide greater controller support (including wheels) and custom mapping in game. As you can imagine this is not a small task and unfortunately the current Covid situation means development takes a little longer than usual, but we hope to have this update available in the Beta branch in the next couple of weeks for testing. Look out for an announcement.

This is great news. Thanks so much for your continued development on this game, especially for wheel support!

Game UI/HUD in gameplay it's little bit weird, like speedometer is wrong position & text info it's wrong position & also car the suction of cars is too short, that should be more longer so, it's could be more easy to take boost if player want to and when time runs out, the speed should continue until the pace has stopped or that way working some of arcade games that i remember better like Sega Rally. For now game stop or you get game over instantly if time end.
