Issue with Washing?

So today, I put the game on my main computer. I attempted to wash a new intake SEVERAL times and it never changed. They were still 'dirty' even though they had been cleaned three times. They dog ended up being taken away due to neglect??? Like really?

did u make sure u cleaned them the correct way? it should be water-shampoo-water-dry

Yeah that started happening when I installed a wash room not sure why its happening

Thats not what the game tells you it tells you to pour shampoo then scrub with the sponge and then rinse with water and finishing with a dry. I also tried to the way you mentioned and that didnt work either

oh yeah i forgot about the scrub part, it should be after shampoo. no idea what could be going on but you could try to pick up the dog and set it down multiple times?

Yeah might as well considering I've tried washing twice in a row and that didnt work every time the time the hygine meter gains a point it also loses a point so its constantly in the negative vaule. Like I know the game says the dogs are very dirty but this is a little too dirty and I'm in a hard lock because of it as every dog that comes in needs washing and its the same situation with every dog. I asked a friend of mine to do a dog shelter on his end to see if he gets the same problem but nope it didnt happen to him. After awhile you stop getting notices of new dogs needing to be taken in and my reputation went to zero so I cant progress either.

I have a similar problem. I washed the dog shows that it is clean but when I look at the preview q it still needs a mouse it is in red hygiene. I've done it a few times with different dogs. always the same effect and then they take the dog away. The beginning of the game in the tutorial.

Is the dog in the wash station the whole time or did you pick it up and take it back to the yard or cage? My dogs hygiene will update if I pick it up after a wash

well in my case it doesnt update after I pick it up I doesnt seem to matter where I put it afterwards

I followed the instructions in the tutorial. When I noticed something wasn't right I tried different options (e.g. shampoo, scrub, wash dry and get it, feed; other times I started with feeding; I washed several times; I started the game several times washing the dog) with the same result each time.
When I chose the cat, the game went on but I haven't tried washing the dog in the beginning version with the cat yet

Robiłem wg wskazówek pojawiających się w samouczku. Gdy zauważyłem, że coś jest nie tak próbowałem różnych opcji (np. szampon, szorowanie, mycie suszenie i odniosłem, karmienie; innym razem zacząłem od karmienia; myłem kilka krotnie; zaczynałem grę kilka razy wybierając psa) za każdym razem taki sam efekt.
Gdy wybrałem kota gra poszła dalej ale nie próbowałem jeszcze myć psa w wersji początku z kotem

OMG i have the same problem as your guys! The only dog there was to adopt needed to be washed. So, I took it and washed it. I hovered my mouse over the dog and it said clean. But when i checked, it still said dirty. I washed him 3 more times but he was still dirty. I got a new dog and the same thing happened all over again. And the first dog got taken away. I don't know what to do. :(

Yeah seems to be a bug that affects some people like it didnt affect a friend of mine but it did affect me.

Też myślę że ten błąd z psami jest u niektórych ludzi (ciekawe czy chodzi o konfigurację komputera czy tez kupiłem grę razem z dodatkami) Napisałem z poziomu gry o błędzie czekam co dalej.
Zacząłem grę z kotami i dalej poszło. Ale gdy mam doczynienia z higieną u psów co bym nie robił lub ile razy bum nie mył higiena nie jest zaliczana. (psy bez higieny na 100% daję do adopcji wcześniej ale chyba nie tak ma działać)
Zastanawiam się czy czyszczenie mopem lub miotłą dobrze działa nie widać brudu i brak postępu pracy mopa a przy miotle baaardzo powoli)

I don't have any DLCs and the only animals I have are two dogs which both need washing. So I am kind of stuck.
