The krak upper ward is kicking my ass
These blackhead guys or whatever they are just instantly snipe my dude the second they come into view, i just pop smoke, use 6 or 7 tubes to kill where i think they are then suddenly ones alive and he ALWAYS kills one of my guys, instantly, 3 dudes barricaded, smoke clears and "HEHEHE" line plays from the insurgents and a guys dead ive played this ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ map like 8 times now its always the same, plates, dont matter the honor helmet doesnt do ♥♥♥♥ no matter what happens ill always get one guy dropped by John hussian wick. anyone played this one yet, im missing 2 deployments since everyones fatigued and i only got two assault guys

If you don't want them fatigued, you need to put a little thought into which troopers you deploy on what missions and balance them between Old Keep and Upper Ward. But nothing stopping you from redeploying the fatigued ones, they just won't be as fast on the first shot.

I did Old Keep first with 2 Assault and 8 Militia (playing as SWAT), then did Upper Ward with the rest of my Assault, Sappers, whatever Militia was left over, the whole gang. I think if you hit the guys around the detonator on the right at the start, you can stop them from activating the bombs, then you can take your time clearing the castle or extracting the hostages.

My clock time for Upper Ward was 2:20, but it took a couple hours to figure it out tbh, it was more like a puzzle in the background that i did during the day lmao.
RN i completed whole game exclude 2 last operations for 3 stars, so it's an purely skill/tactics isue

I have no problem with the det room, i just use two assault guys with MP5sd with charge and bolt cutters to breach from the room with the hostage. what's kicking my ass is after one or two tries i get really impatient, so on the third try im just figuring out a way to bypass the whole mission, which involves breaching through the adjacent wall to take out the dushka but theres like 4 snipers and they're all those blackhead guys, i use smoke and tubes to get rid of most of them but one of my dudes gets one tap' everytime i go this way, last time i almost won i accidentally blew up a wall connecting to the 3 hostage room and the hostage got executed... so i alt f4'd lol

Mission where you save hostages in "tunel" like hullway ?
I personaly planted wall breach in starting room, tossed then smoke, blown up wall and sparyer with LMGs to all lenght of hallways, smoke&spray is somewhat valit tactic actualy

You can cheese most fights by pieing around corners with one guy really slowly. As soon as you see an enemy back off and then throw a nade where the red shadow is. Right as the nade lands rush back out and shoot anyone that flees the explosion.

If its a really big room you might need to repeat a few times before rushing in to the room.

Not with the black heads, you can have three guys behind sandbags, two machine gunners, a sniper and another with a rifle on the side and once the smoke grenade clears they'll one hit your almost max skill guy behind bags instantly

watch the replay ! i litheraly supresed nearly whole right side with LMG from smoke

thats what worked for me before i rage quit when my grenadier blew up the wall on the other side of map(alerting the executioners) after my gunners killed right side, you really have to do some serious ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ around with that dushka, theres no way you could just pie corners with that lot

Is this meant to be accessible via the replay system or just a vid file? Neither are working for me. I've been trying for two hours and can't find a way to save the three hostages at the top as the executioners blast them every time. Taking no injuries clearing the bottom section nor the left/top path to the hostage room, I just can't get in there fast enough.

Push hard/loud = executioners go loud.
Tip-toe as far as the long, open walk to the room and the HMG/sniper combo at the far RHS engage, from there I go plan B and rush the room but never make it in time.

Any tips ( or a method to get the replay to work) would be much appreciated :)

use supressors, room on top lacks "investigators" enemies, after clearing whole castle i put 2 slaps charges on side room to clear wood stuff&door so suicide bomber whill be killed, while lads on top where supressed with stingers, after troops entered&cleared room
I finally managed it, I fragged the upper LHS inaccessible door, chased it with bang through the newly opened door which bought me enough time to get a runner into the room. So thanks, while I'm not sure what you meant about clearing the wood stuff (I couldn't place a slap on the debris) you inspired me to clear that door with a frag. Cheers. Sanity preserved.
