Hi,
as a first read, all seems ok when suddenly the game crash...
Please send an email at devteam (at) inthekillhouse(dot)com with the file AppData\Local\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2\log.txt and any crashdump.zip
Thanks.
For now, it's intended. It's like on DK1.
Hi,
please post log.txt file located in
C:\Users\<your username>\AppData\Local\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2\
using pastebin.com
Thanks.
I answered there also, but please verify the file cache: https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2037-QEUH-3335
looks like one of the game's files is corrupted
Also is there a way to create a Bomb defuse mission or is the editor stuff missing for this type because it is yet to be added in the game?
I think that bombs will arrive later... I can't even imagine a DK game without bomb defuse missions...
The Problem: Game will not launch. Hitting "Play" in steam causes the icon to turn blue for a moment, and then nothing happens. No error.
The solution: I am running windows 10 version N. To verify that you're having the same problem as I was, try to run the game from your steam apps folder (Steam\steamapps\common\DoorKickers2).
The error I received was something like "Mfplat.dll not found."
Installed Windows Media pack as outlined here: https://appuals.com/fix-mfplat-dll-missing-on-windows-10/#:~:text=Most%20of%20the%20time%2C%20the,installers%20will%20not%20include%20it.
This fixed the issue for me. Good luck.
