I had only two stars left to achieve and eight challenges. Close to hundred percent.
Now the most of the progress is lost.
The strange thing is the progress in all soldier skills, doctrines and unlocked weapons are just as they should be.
And it is not everything lost, a couple of maps have still three stars and all three challenges. But 80 percent is lost.

Hi, have you used mods? Unistalled / changed mods?

no, no mods and i never had any installed.
my brother has a similar issue, but he had not the progress as me.
hes only missing a few stars

You can try this:

manually backup save folder and then restore backup using this info:

Not 100% sure why this happens, but I'm pretty sure it has something to do with Steam Cloud, we only edit savegame files when you actually do something in the game.

We do save backups though. Open this folder:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2

And then rename all files you see as .bak to .xml (you will have to delete the .xml ones though). But this will only work for those you haven't changed, for example by editing squads again.
