how to find options.xml on steam deck?
was a bit disappointed to see there still isn't an in game toggle for making corpses stay but I wanted to play 1.0 on my steam deck however the file structure differs from windows meaning I can't just follow the guide. Does anyone know where to find the options.xml file for this game on SteamOS?

Thanks so much! It originally used to be in the Documents folder.

That folder doesn't seem to apply to the game anymore... where is the new options xml ?

it does for me it was in the steam compatdata folder same folder name i believe

It would be nice as an option to either go with chalk or corpses, and I can't seem to find that other options xml to edit either.

if this helps you guys here is the exact directory for me but I agree it should just be an in game setting

/home/deck/.steam/steam/steamapps/compatdata/1239080/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/AppData/Local/KillHouseGames/DoorKickers2/

also, for me the folder was located on the main SSD regardless if I have the game installed on an SD card

Copy and paste: %LOCALAPPDATA%\KillHouseGames\DoorKickers2\ to your file explorer file path and you should find the right options file

steam deck uses SteamOS so file structure is not the same
