We have official steam input configurations for xbox/ps controllers. Not native, but at least you can do everything you need in the game.

It's a PC game, there's no real reason to expect it to be compatible with a controller. Game's not designed for a controller, but they've offered a solution (not a third party mod).

The game's requirements state a mouse with 3 buttons is needed. Due to the game's control scheme it's much harder to play on a controller, it is what it is. The only controller that's fitted for drawing the plans is the touchpad from the Steam Deck (or the old Steam Controller).

Why, Door kickers 1 plays fine on switch with pro controller on TV in docked mode..

I play a majority of my PC games with a controller. Way more ergonomic than m&k.
