I have a Surface Pro 11 (Elite processor, 32GB RAM). The game looks way too dark on high settings. When I switch to lowest graphics settings, it looks fine, but the moment a gunshot or explosion happens, it crashes.
No external monitor plugged in. Power cable plugged in, with battery setting to "best performance" when plugged in.
Super disappointed, would love to find a fix!
Send us the log file using the in-game feedback form please, maybe I can see what's going on.
Also try disabling HDR from the surface pro's windows settings.
I wonder if it is to do with the ARM processor/architecture in the SP 11? Baldurs Gate 3 no longer plays on this after an update by either Larian Studios or Microsoft as it worked fine back in September 2024
I wonder if it is to do with the ARM processor/architecture in the SP 11? another game I have, Baldur's Gate 3 no longer plays on this after an update by either Larian Studios or Microsoft as it worked fine back in September 2024.
Will there be an update to make this game more stable on the SP 11 or available on either the switch or Xbox series?
Our game (as most apps, currently) doesn't have a native ARM bulid, only x86 (intel/amd). So Windows makes them run by using a compatibility layer which translates x86 to ARM. This doesn't work perfectly at the moment. We'll try to find a workaround, but if the apps run fine on x86 Windows, then it's on microsoft to fix them on their surface pro tablets.
