Having Problems with the Spy Camera

i am having the problem that my soldiers don't want to put that thing under Doors, i send them directly in front of it, tell them to look at the Door activate the Gadget, and they just activate it in the Room they are in, their weapons are sometime poking trough the door but they still don't show me the opposit side. walking back and forth helps, but it's slightly frustrating.

Please check the following:

1. when your unit is near the door, there should be a thin dashed blue line connecting your unit and the door. Did it appear?
2. when the blue dashed line appears, right-click your unit, there should be 2 tabs, 1 is his original function, another is his interaction with the door. Did you use spycam in the correct tab?

apperantly i was on the wrong tab...

For some reason I can only use it on doors, and not around corners. The option is active, they say 'Roger' os something, but notthing happens. I think it was working before.

This was confirmed to be a bug and devs are aware.
