The problem is how fast you'd burn through a mag. I mean lets say... 600rpm, and 30rds. Gives you I believe only 3 seconds of sustained fire. Even then you would need to work out a way to balance the gameplay mechanic if everyone can use suppressive fire
Normally, when doing a blindfire, if you don't pop your head out, you have no vision (unless there is another of your unit that has a vision).
And that means you have no idea whether the opponent move or hind behind cover. (You can compare it to shooting LMG into an area full of smoke.)
Also, even if you don't pop yopur head out, your hand would still be visible to the opponent. (Think of sapper as an example.)
Sadly, the terrorist still gain vision (and hand protection) while doing a blindfire.
